Halloween – Afraid of your basement?

By Mark Bertrang, The Creator of the Financialoscopy® on Thursday, October 29th 2026

Many people don’t like going into their basement, alone. It’s a dark, eerie place where things get left and forgotten – in boxes and closets and storage containers. There’s this feeling that something’s lurking down there forgotten, just waiting to be found. Opening forgotten items can become an overwhelming task to undertake, especially alone. Who knows what ghost from your past may resurface.

Literally or metaphorically, you probably have something you’ve shoved out of sight and out of mind, right? You may have simply told yourself – “Let’s not go there”. Unlike Halloween, you may fear only tricks and no rewarding treats.

When it comes to household clutter you may have just gotten around to tossing a lot of your old memories out. You try to tell yourself that it’s only a small collection of ‘stuff’. Unfortunately, your ‘stuff’ may have taken over your basement, your closets and are procreating in such force, that you can even imagine a storage unit in your near future.  But when it’s something you are putting off and you simply haven’t dealt with it, it may just be a little fear of the unknown – like scheduling your Financialoscopy®. Our team can assist you in overcoming your fears – of having a Financialoscopy® AND of clearing the clutter of your life.
