Seeking the Double-Reds

Double Reds

I give blood about every 16 weeks, but if you knew why I initially started giving blood, I may be a bit embarrassed - I was trying to get over my fear of needles. I was very unsure at first, but I was able to do it. Now, almost 4 gallons later, I don’t even think of the needles any longer.

At first, I was doing it for myself. The reason I give blood now is because it’s one of the few things I can do where there’s nothing in it for me. It’s actually for someone I don’t even know. I do get a cup of juice and a chocolate chip cookie, but it’s not just about giving blood, but seeking the Double Reds.

What are Double Reds? It’s very important to give blood, and if you have the opportunity to give, do it. I now give Double Reds. This process takes longer because you are hooked up to a machine that takes out a pint of your blood, swirls it around, and gives you everything back along with some saline solution except for the red blood cells. After they have pushed everything back into your system, they start the process over again with another pint of your blood. This allows them to take twice the amount of red blood cells that they would typically get with a whole blood donation.

Why are Double Reds important? When giving Double Reds, there are twice as many cells that carry oxygen throughout the body in one donation. When someone needs blood, it’s better for it to all come from the same donor, if possible, because it’s easier for the recipient's body. When you donate Double Reds, you can provide twice the amount in one donation and lessen the number of donors a person in critical care may need.

At the Financialoscopy Office, we like to roll up our sleeves, not just for donating, but we also work as hard as possible for you. However, we’re not the organization that you should talk to if you just wish to become rich. There are better and more successful ways of doing that like starting your own business, owning multiple real estate ventures, etc. Our mission statement is to make certain that everyone who is working with us can withstand difficult circumstances: the good, the bad, and the ugly, and that their life will be okay. Like Double Reds, we are hoping for twice the impact in your life. We want your life to be the best it possibly can. We want your financial life to be as efficient as it possibly can. We want to make certain that it will be as full as it possibly can with the resources that you have available.

We enjoy working with people who are seeking the Double Reds in their life. One organization, instead of referring to it as Double Reds, calls it Power Reds. So, to be able to provide more Power to your life, perhaps it’s time for you to schedule your Financialoscopy®.
