Where is everyone?

While the rest of the neighborhood is still hitting snooze, one early riser in Onalaska is already three miles into the day — “ME” and I’m asking a question that might change how you show up for the rest of your life.

Where is everyone this morning? I oftentimes will ask myself that as I leave home at 6:20 in the morning after getting up between 4:30 and 5am. It’s always great to start the day with some coffee, maybe some oatmeal and raisins, a little bit of time to reflect, meditate and prayer. But once 6:20 rolls around, it’s time to get out.

It’s time to get out and energize for the day. And as I do my three miles, practically every single workday, I always look around. Where is everyone? And I realize that they’re probably still at home, getting up for the day, maybe thinking that they’re eating healthy because they’re having their Wheaties. But probably a donut from Kwik Trip, maybe pounding down some coffee to get some caffeine into their system, making sure that now they’re pumped up for the day.

Is that how you’re taking care of yourself while you are in your working years? Or when you are in your retirement years, as well? It’s important that what you put in is what you get out.

So, when I arrive at the office at 8:30 this morning, after showering, cleaning up, putting on a shirt, tie and sports coat, I’m ready to rock the day because I’ve have been rocketing it since the wee hours of the morning.

Now, what time does that mean that I actually go to bed at night? Well, probably between 9:30 and 10 o’clock because it’s important to get as much sleep as possible, too. But it’s really about what you put into it. And this is important to understand the concept of what our belief system is with Financialoscopy®. We just don’t show up. We’ve been showing up as soon as we get up in the morning because there are tasks to complete. There are projects to get ready for. Already, as I take my morning walk, I have sent several emails to the office of things that need to be completed prior to sitting down the very first time at my desk that I want to have in front of my eyes, so I can attack the day.

Oftentimes we talk about the difference that we’re going to be making in our lives on January 1st of each and every year. Let’s not wait until January 1st. You can make a change today simply by engaging yourself, setting your alarm clock for tomorrow, and saying, this is how I’m going to begin my day. And the best way to begin is simply by beginning.

If you want a group of people, a team or guides to work with that kind of enthusiasm each and every day, then it’s time for you to join the Financialoscopy® movement!
