Wait for it….there’s a surprise below.
You won’t believe everything that I was able to accomplish in 45 minutes before a Zoom meeting last night:
- Got a bite to eat
- Picked up picture frames at Michaels
- Submitted my credit card report to our office manager
- Became an ordained minister
- Made it back in time for my Zoom meeting
Wait, what? I know. What I got done in 45 minutes was amazing, but you probably have questions about the ordained minister part. I was blessed to be asked to officiate my niece’s wedding this coming spring. They wanted someone to stand up for them who actually knew and cared about them, and they shared that they respected me due to the life that I try to live.
In the state of Wisconsin, you can marry someone if you are a judge or an ordained minister. The qualifications to be an ordained minister Shocked me. All I had to do was go online, put in my name, date of birth, my address, and click ‘OK’. That was it. I am now a “fully qualified” ordained minister.
“Fully Qualified”
When we look at your financial life – what qualifications does the person have that you are working with? Perhaps you’re not working with anyone. So, we already know your qualifications right there. I look back over my 38 years and everything that I’ve gone through to be qualified: designations, continuing education, licenses and registrations, etc. All of this is really important, but equally important is the time that I have put into this career spanning over nearly 4 decades.
Get a Resume
When you sit down with someone for the first time, you need to ask for a resume. You need to ask about how they do their work. What is it based upon? What are their qualifications? What are their registrations? What are their licenses? You can tell if they’ve put the time and hard work into being qualified, or if they became “fully qualified” like I am as an ordained minister.
Look for someone who has put in the time and gotten the experience, the licenses, the registrations, the designations. Someone who has been through the trenches. Something to consider when you choose who you will be working with throughout your life.
If you believe that we may be the company that you would like to work with, come and ask us about our qualifications and experience and perhaps it’s time for you to schedule your Financialoscopy®.
